I have observed that Khun Naren has OT everyday and weekend.
(Last sat we asked him to go wks for 2CY – Instructed by me).
Actually he shown very motivated approach to work for departmental and company as well. It is very good.
What I want is to set a limit for him to stay back and not up to him for whatever time required.
1. In house stay back should be not more than 3 hours (date 4/3 – 6 hours!)
2. Saturday not more than 4 hours if no trial
3. External should be planned accordingly and reasonable.
Reason:
1. Self control of job. He can control whether to make faster or slower.
2. Do want to be a habit for job doing during overtimes
3. Setting mind set to complete after working hours
4. Setting mind set to complete during off day due to overtime claiming
5. Work planning is poor if everything must be done during extension hours.
6. Organizing works based on long hours completion times – No good at this manner.
Hence, we need to stop that culture.
So, you need to guide him and making a proper schedule on his tasks.
For temporary, please briefly give about his JOD at this moment.
