bend and securedon the die over which the specimen can stretch and slide. One endof the specimen is clamped between two back plates to provideback tension. The iLoad Mini load cell (Load Cell II) with a capacityof 889.6 N and accuracy of 2.2 N is used to measure the clampingload. The other end of the specimen is attached to RAS1 S-Beam(Load Cell I) that is bolted to the actuator of the draw bench. LoadCell I has a capacity of 8896.4 N and accuracy of 1.8 N, and is used tomeasure the drawing/pulling force. The die radius can be changedby replacing the die insert in the holder. While the die is a freelyrotating cylinder in a typical bending under tension tester, the dieis fixed (no rotation allowed) in the present experimental set-upto simulate the practical forming processes prescribed by industry.The developed testing apparatus is shown in Fig. 2
