Courses
The NCDEA delivers nationally accredited courses in agriculture and dairy manufacturing from Certificate II through to Advanced Diploma and may offer pathways to degrees. The Certificate II in Agriculture can be offered to Year 10, 11 and 12 students as a Vocational Education and Training program in schools or as a school based apprenticeship, which provides young people with an incentive to stay at school and continue their education. It provides opportunity to experience the agriculture industry with hands on learning.
The Certificate III and IV programs can be undertaken as apprenticeships/traineeships, full time or part time depending on the campus. At the Diploma and Advanced Diploma level, projects are undertaken on the individual’s home farm, place of employment or in a managed work placement to ensure relevance and extra value for their study experience.
The NCDEA can also customise training to meet the needs of a particular group or organisation.
