Adam Porter, et al. [4] in an yet to be published work, claim that as the current SQA techniques do not scale to the needs of agile and continuously evolving software products, they have developed an SQA environment named SKOLL. It defines a generic set of distributed, continuous and novel SQA processes, including certain supporting tools. They describe their environment and its advantages with the results of two case studies. Shortcomings of current SQA techniques are stated to include differences in (i) test cases; (ii) input load conditions, (iii) the software version; and (iv) the platform used during testing; with respect to the field conditions.
