Samples of the compost materials from each treatment were ta-
ken randomly in triplicates on the 52nd day and sent for their
chemical composition determination at the UTCL laboratory. The
final chemical compositions of the matured compost are displayed
in Table 6. From the table, it could be seen that the mean value for
nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and calcium of the compost
material with decanter cake slurry are greater than those of the
compost material without decanter cake slurry. On the other
hands, the organic matter, organic carbon and pH of the compost
material without decanter cake slurry were higher than those of
the compost material with decanter cake slurry. However, for mag-
nesium, the difference is not significant.
