Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing the planning, facilitating, leading and completing of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects to support productivity, quality and cost reduction objectives of the company. You will also be driving Armstrong’s culture of operations excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead site and cross-site improvement projects and teams to rigorously apply the Lean Manufacturing to achieve business results.
2. Work with Design Engineering team to lead projects to reduce costs through redesign,
vendor selection, part localization, benchmarking etc.
3. Partner with process owners and business teams to create a culture which supports process
management; data driven decision making; and continuous improvement aligned with
established strategy; vision; goals and objectives.
4. Lead, coach, train and mentor teams in the use of Lean tools and processes; serving as a change agent assisting them in solving high level and/or complex problems resulting in breakthrough levels of performance improvement
5. Experience and Ability to demonstrate effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is necessary.
6. Lean Six Sigma Trained will be an advantage.
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering
• Min 5 years’ working experience in similar field
• Energetic, Self-driven and proven ability to work within a team environment to achieve business objectives.
