NONPHARMACOLOGICAL REATMENT
Behavioral interventions are con- sidered first line treatment for enuresis. If assessment has revealed no specific etiology, simple behavioral tions may be tried, but the efficacy is inconclusive. Examples include reward systems for dry nights night lifting or waking the child night to void; re- tention control training (RCT) to en large bladder capacity and fluid restric- tion. Mixed results have been found in studies of hypnosis, acupuncture, and chiropractic care (Glazener & Evans, 2004). Psychotherapy is helpful only when a psychological problem is a con- tributing factor (Hodgkinson, Josephs, & He 2010)
