Sister Antoinette Schreiber (Averil) was born in Pierron, Illinois. She has a bachelor of science degree in education from Alverno College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the Archdiocese of Chicago, she served at St. Maurice School in Chicago as teacher (1944-1965) and as principal (1962-1965). In the Diocese of Joliet, she served at St. Walter School, Roselle, Illinois, as teacher (1965-1966) and as Learning Center Coordinator (1973-1983). In between these positions, she also served as a teacher in Bloomingdale, Illinois, at St. Isadore Parish for a year. Sister taught at Holy Family School in Joliet (1983-1989). In the Diocese of Rockford she served as principal at St. John the Baptist School in McHenry, Illinois (1966-1973), and at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Aurora, Illinois, she served as a teacher in the school (1989-1994), as a Parish sister (1994-1998), and as a tutor (1998-2001). Sister currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
