Be a part of an innovative and growing business area with the British Council in Thailand by taking on the job of Assistant Manager, Marketing based in our Bangkok office on a permanent basis.
British Council Thailand English Programmes offers Teaching Centres (5 in Bangkok and 1 in Chiangmai) providing high quality English language courses to a wide range of students from kids and teens to adults. Moreover, the programmes also offer teaching for Corporate & Partner Schools. The marketing department takes charge of initiating marketing strategy and implement various plans and activities to promote English programmes to the target market in order to achieve business targets.
In addition, the team supports the business development of the Thailand English programmes with internal evaluation and market researches & assessment.
The post reports to Marketing Manager – Young Learner to support both Adult & Young Learner Marketing Managers. Also works closely with Digital Assistant Manager, English, Academic, and Sales & Customer Management team.
This post reports to Digital Manager and will work closely with Adult Marketing Manager, Young Learner Marketing Managers, and Marketing Assistant Manager. The post holder will also works closely with English Programmes Management, Academic, and Sales & Customer Management team.
As the Assistant Manager, Marketing, you will support delivery of the Thailand marketing and communication strategies for English Management team and stakeholders in Thailand and the region. Deliver the initiatives to agreed deadlines and budgets, monitoring progress, reporting outcome, and providing learning as required. The post-holder will also implement marketing & communication campaigns and activities for the English programmes.
Desired Skills and Experience
As the ideal candidate, you will possess education to tertiary level and bring along min 3 years’ demonstrable experience in marketing or related field. You should possess strong written and spoken skills in both English and Thai.
