A 1-way ANOVA of repeated measures revealed a significant decrease in the mean current intensity (F = 8.868, P = .008) and worst level (F = 9.134, P = .007) of hand pain from baseline (current pain: 5.4 ± 1.8; worst pain: 7.3 ± 1.7) to 1 week after the treatment session (current pain: 3.2 ± 1.4,worst pain: 5.1 ± 1.1). No significant changes in lowest levels of pain (F = 0.035, P = .854) were observed.
