Since the heat transfer characteristics of the hybrid heat pipe as
a pressurized heat pipe are important in this study, the detailed
behavior of a bubble and condensed liquid droplet were neglected.
However, the phase change of the working fluid at the liquidevapor
interface was considered as a source term in the momentum and
energy equation. From that, the following assumptions were
considered for the hybrid heat pipe simulation to solve continuity,
momentum and energy equations: [12e15].
