The VM stresses from occlusal forces of Model 1 transferred
mainly through the zygomatic alveolar crest upwards and divided
in three directions in the end under vertical loading. One branch
was conducted along frontal processes of maxilla to frontal bone,
one along frontosphenoidal process of zygoma to frontal bone,
and the other along the zygomatic arch to base of skull. However,
the figure shows fewer stress distribution in zygomatic arch
under lateral loading(Fig. 4). In Model2, the highest VM stresses
were generated at metalline palate plate and clasps of the super-
structure, regardless of vertical or lateral loading. There was also
stresses concentration on the dental cervix and nearby bones of
