The genetic diversity of the spring orchids varied significantly in the three clades (Table 3). Among the seven horticultural types, the three traditional petaline types, the plum petal, the daffodil petal and the lotus petal, had the highest diversity (HE = 0.1597 − 0.1633, Ho = 0.2575 − 0.2639), the butterfly petal and concolor petal showed moderate diversity (HE = 0.1419 − 0.1461, Ho = 0.2337 − 0.2389), while the latest horticultural types, the art of leaves and the colored flower displayed the lowest diversity (HE = 0.1089 − 0.1122, Ho = 0.1668 − 0.1697). The total genetic diversity of these 120 C. goeringii cultivars was 0.1649 with an average of 0.1417 ( Table 3)
