Significantly lower condition factor was observed in fish fed with the cellulose diet compared to those fed with diet containing corn starch. VSI was not significantly affected by dietary carbohydrate source. Significantly higher HSI and glycogen content were observed in fish fed with the wheat starch, corn starch, dextrin or glucose diet compared to fish fed with the cellulose diet (Table 4).
