Recreational sport participation in our society is reaching unprecedented levels.Almost everyone finds some form of recreational sport expression whether it be through personal fitness programs, Organized sport competition , family sport, outing, spectating ,or playing video and other electronic sport .
A review of the historical evolution of the recreational sport process within this country, andother cultures of the world , is a task that as resulted in the development of complete texts on the subject of sport history. Much documentation comes from teacher (Physical Education) or coaches (Athletics). Consequently, much emphasis is placed on success through winning or on skill development.
Although instructional sport, athletic sport and professional sport are important historically , the recreational aspect of sport also has a place of importance in history.
