In the present study, MCB, Agrozel and urea significantly
increased geometric mean diameter, whereas CAN and manure
induced the lowest values (Table 2). Fertilization with Agrozel
induced better soil physical–chemical properties and can retain N
and K in the root zone to be used by plants when required (Milosevic
and Milosevic, 2009). Our results confirm these findings because
MCB and Agrozel contain high amount of K, and urea contains high
amount of N, respectively. However, excess N does not increase fruit
size, whereas N deficiency leads to small fruit with poor flavour and
unproductive trees
