trusting relationships between venues and the touring companies which deliver
product to us. Things have changed greatly over the past ten years or so. Far more
visiting companies these days have key marketing staff who develop a very good
working relationship with their counterparts at the venue. Indeed, many now have
PR and marketing companies working on their behalf, so we might be dealing with
the same contact person for several different shows at the same time.
