Particularly, curriculum internationalization has been considered the vehicle as well as a key component of internationalizing business school (Kwok & Arpen, 1994, Fatmei, 1995). In 1974, the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) changed the accreditation standard to mandate the internationalization of curriculum. By 1993, AACSB required undergraduate and graduate curricula to provide coverage "perspectives" including "global issues and global economic environments." The May 2000 revision of AACSB guidelines for self-evaluation modified the curriculum standards to include ethical and global issues, and demographic diversity issues.
