She also had severe hypocalcaemia (1.7 mmol/L), which explained her tingling and pain sensations in the fingers, the arpopedal spasm, and renal osteodystrophy. Complete blood cell count showed microcytic,hypochromicanaemia (Hb 7 g/L). Also, the biochemistry test revealed mild hypophosphatemia, hypomagnesaemia, but normal electrolytes.
