Pure tetragonal CTS with nanoparticles and 3D-hierarchical
flower-like structure were successfully synthesized by
microwave refluxing of CuCl22H2O, SnCl22H2O, and
TBZ in ethylene glycol. In this research, the CTS products
were composed of 2Cuþ (BE ¼ 932:4 and 952.4 eV),
Cu2þ (BE ¼ 942:8 eV), Sn4þ (BE ¼ 486:6 and 495.1 eV)
and 4S2 (BE ¼ 161:7 eV), including the PL emission at
366 nm for the 3D-hierarchical flower-like CTS, and the
prominent Raman peak of Cu–Sn vibration at 319 cm1.
