retained good colour and received the maximum score of 2.66,
whereas 'Ravel' recorded least score of 1.66. This result is in
confirmation with findings of Datillo (2001) who reported that
brighter the flower the longer the colour will last. Bright orange
roses such as Prominent, Fragrant cloud, Impatient, Marina,
Tropicana, Carrot Top and Holy Toledo will retain their glorious
orange colour even after drying. The results of the present study
also indicated that 'First Red' tend to become dark on drying
and 'Ravel' (Pink) did not retain their colour after drying which
