The financials should give the entrepreneur the confidence is needed to take the all important job of raising funds for the venture. The Green Frog Company plans on buying out the plant they have used under a joint venture agreement. It also needs funds to cover its working capital requirements and some amount to assure future expansion. In this example, the company feels it is prudent to open a plant in Vancouver. Table 15.5 sets out management’s estimate of cash needed to fully launch the venture.
