3 Questionnaire Survey Design
3.1 Outline of Questionnaire Survey
Internet questionnaire surveys have been
conducted for 3 times to evaluate consumer
preference for EVs: 2009 pretest, 2009 survey
and 2010 survey. The respondents are chosen from internet monitors of the Nikkei Research Inc.
Access Panel from all over Japan that have driver
licenses and own passenger vehicles from the age
from 20 to 60. Each survey is consisted of the
following 5 parts with total of 69 questions:
personal information, possession and use situation
of their own passenger vehicles, CE part, free
opinions for relationship between vehicles and the
environment and opinions for the conducted
questionnaire survey. Fig.1 summarises the
timeline of three internet questionnaire surveys and
Japanese market trend of EVs
