Every child received the Male/Female Face Classification Task first, as a warm-up exercise. The five audiovisual tasks were then presented in a random order. Each consisted of a familiarization segment containing non-scored items used to get participants familiar with the format of the test, followed by a test segment, in which the computer kept track of correct vs. incorrect responses. After practice, no feedback was given as to whether test responses were correct or incorrect on any of the 6 tasks.
