The saccharification activity was highest on the 3rd day
(8.35 lg/min/g) and thereafter remained stable up to the 5th day
(Fig. 3, P < 0.050). On the contrary, the liquefaction activity of amylase
was the highest on the 3rd day (52.30 lg/min/g) but after that
it declined sharply (Fig. 3, P < 0.050).
