Our analyses are based on data from the LAGO project.
The data were collected in 2010 from 1,688 pupils of ten
secondary schools in Flanders and thus provides the adolescent perspective on family life. This relatively unique
feature of the LAGO data is crucial for studying the
association between family characteristics and the well-
being of adolescents. The separation of the study site from
questionnaire content (questioning children about their
family life within their school context) is designed to
obtain ‘true stories’ of children.
