Shared joy is a double joy!
This sentence summarizes well what happened July 9 at Kimball Electronics Thailand (KETL) when the first IntelliClip product for our customer, Sanofi, was produced on the assembly line.
Why double joy?
On that same day, the Sanofi Team arrived from Germany, and they enjoyed experiencing the first product together with the KETL team.
IntelliClip, top photo, is a medical device for diabetics that, in use with insulin pens, helps patients manage their treatment data.
The first piece, shown with Wananya Panittrakankul and Bunrung Meenawong, bottom photo, was like a rock star. Everyone wanted to have their picture taken with it.
Till Gerken, Sanofi’s Development Project Leader, said: “It was amazing moment to have the first piece on hand—and it works! We have been working on the project for a few years now. We saw many drawings, presentations and models; however, we were waiting to experience the real product. The Kimball team provided us with the experience – thank you for that!”
