Abstract
The purposes of this research was to study and compare the academic administration of the school administrators according to the opinion of teachers and academic teachers in Trat education service area office. This study are divided depending on school size and their status.
The samples consisted of 299 teachers and 97 academic teachers who come form the large school (21 schools) and small school (76 schools). The research instrument was a five – rating – scale questionnaire and the data were analyzed using by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and independent samples t-test.
The results of the study were as follows : 1) The academic administration of the school administrators in Trat education service area office, according to their teachers and academic teachers, the analysis results reveal high in general and all aspects of study. They are put in order from high to low as the following : teaching management, educational measurement and evaluation, quality assurance, curriculum and curriculum administration, internal supervision, and research for learning development. 2) The results of the data analysis in comparing the academic administration of the school administrators according to the school size is not different statistically significant in general. The finding, according to each dimension, was the difference of teaching management is statistically significant at .05 level. 3)
