One reason the flipped classroom has become popular is the
overall performance of students attaining learning outcomes in a
course. The traditional classroom is a one-size-fits-all model and
has a limited concept of engagement with the students. The
faculty member is actually the one taking the responsibility for the
students’ learning. Currently, only 69% of students who start high
school finish 4 years later. 7,200 students drop out of high school
EACH day – 1.3 million per year. Success rates and retention
rates at many colleges and universities are abysmal.
