Results
First, pairwise t-tests to determine changes in teamwork attitudes of
social-support and task-participation responses were carried out. The
improvements on a seven-point scale were 0.27 (t . 5.05) for
task-participation and 0.15 (t . 3.78) for social-support. While the differences
were small, they were nevertheless positive and significant. These results
confirmed expected teamwork attitudinal improvements after the AL
experience. Next, a Lisrel structural model (Joreskorg and Sorbom, 1989) was
developed to test the eight hypotheses. The model (Figure 1) displayed good fit
indices with GFI ¼ 0.90, AGFI ¼ 0.87 and Chi-square (df ¼ 219) ¼ 452.49.
