There were no significant differences at seed to solvent ratios of 1/4
and 1/6 when isopropanol was used as an extraction solvent. However, there was a significant increase in the oil content at a seed to solvent ratio of 1/8 when isopropanol was used, which was greater than the oil content when ethanol was used at a seed to solvent ratio of 1/8. Therefore, the experimental conditions that produced the greatest oil content made use of acetone as a solvent, with an extraction duration of 30 min at a seed to solvent ratio of 1/8.
