Oolitic Limestone Sedimentary Rock. White, Pink, Red, Gray or Black sedimentary rock composed of mostly calcite oolites. Oolites which form when layers of calcite are deposited around a sand grain or fossil piece and are rolled around in calm water, which makes them round. Typical samples sizes are generally 1-2 inches in length or width but can vary based in availability and natural formation.
