Paw Htoo, paternal grandmother
She mentioned that her son (the father) went back to Myanmar in February 2012 and before he went back, he told her that he would go back to visit his brother at Ka Moo Thway village in Tavoy district. The father never contacted them after he went but his brother Saw Lu Tha came to visit her in the same year in 2012 and stayed about 5 to 6 months in the camp. Saw Lu Tha said that the father just came to stay with him for a day and he went out to work at another village called Pway Po Kla. He also informed him that the father got injured from a car accident and after that, he cohabited with a woman who is Tavoyan (a person from Tavoy district) where he was working. The father hardly made contact with his brother Saw Lu Tha and later he heard that the father moved out from the village he was staying without informing anyone. The father also disappeared from the site of his brother and since then, they never heard from each other again. She tried to ask the people passing by but she did not hear anything about her son (the father) and she does not think he would come back to the camp at this stage. They do not know where he is living at this time although he might still be alive. When asked, she has not heard about yet that the father has children with his current wife. She mentioned that it would be a waste of time if the mother and children had to wait for the father to be resettled because the father had already disappeared for more than 3 years without any trace. She stated that she also does not know why the father cut contacts with them and she wants to know about it too. They also tried to pass the message with the visitors to inform them if they saw the father but no news came back.
