The corresponding ESI-MS/MS mass spectrum of this compound
and the fragment ions were summarized in Table 2 (also see Fig. S1
in Supporting information). For MS/MS operation, product ion
spectra were generated at 15 eV collision energy by collision induced
dissociation (CID) technique in order to minimize fragmentation.
The presence of collision gas argon in both full scan and MS/
MS modes was required to cool ions such that both spatial and kinetic
energy distributions were minimized, thereby improving ion
transmission efficiency and peak resolution [5,12]. Using isotope
Pattern software applied by Bruker company accurately calculate,
for example, in the MS/MS spectra appeared in one of the major
peak m/z 384.1723, compared with the quasi-molecular ion peak,
less 18.0106 Da, corresponding to the elemental composition of
the neutral fragments of H2O. The other peaks were calculated by
the same method. Table 2 listed the main potential ion fragments
formula. We could see clearly that all tiny gaps between measured
values and the theoretical data within 2.0 ppm. Such accuracies
were deemed acceptable for structure elucidation studies when
considering molecules whose molecular weight was
