classified
the kinetic behaviour of antioxidant compounds, and their classification
was in line with those proposed in this research for ascorbic
acid, caffeic acid, gallic acid, ferulic acid. The values found for
standards in this study also agree with those values reported by
Brand-Williams et al.
(1995) as follows: ascorbic acid, rosemaric
acid, 3,4-dihydroxy benzoic acid, ferulic acid. However, both
studies classified the compounds based on sample concentration
to scavenge 50% of the DPPH free radicals (EC50).
