Carbon electrode prepared by carbonization of pomelo peel was fragile for it was mainly composed of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. Coating of conducing polymer such as polyaniline, polypyrrole can increase the interfacial strength and interlaminar shear strength of the carbon electrode [19], [20] and [21]. Among conducing polymers, polyaniline was considered as one of the most promising electrode materials due to its low cost, easy synthesis and high conductivity. Rabia Sattar et al. reported that the tensible strength reached 24.50 MPa when 1 wt% polyaniline coated on the polyurethame [22]. M.J. Silva et al. reported that the composite of natural rubber(NR)/Cellulose nanofibtils (CNF)/polyaniline, its tensible strength reached 2.83 MPa [23]. Sujata Pramanik and coworkers also presented that the mechanical properties increased from 7.89 MPa to 10.5 MPa with the increase of the PANI incorporation into the polymer matrix from 5 to 10 wt% [24].
