CONCLUSION
As MOOCs provide massive open online learning materials, people around the world can sign in and choose the courses in which they are interested and study with well know universities. Students can study anywhere anytime as MOOCs are being used to attract distance education students with the promise of access to more up-todate and complex learning materials in a learning environment that is advertised as equitable with the on-campus experience. In an attempt to provide a range of equitable educational opportunities for students who are working or who have other constraints on their time, many universities have developed MOOCs. Moreover, if web designers and teachers understand what should be provided in an online environment, it will help online education to succeed. Other equally important issues include the achievement and maintenance of quality in onlinelearning delivery; ensuring access and equity in the delivery of programs; and establishing practices which can enable online learning to be sustained and to grow as a mainstream activity in university teaching and learning. In order to ensure that quality assurance goals are met, universities need to look carefully at the programs, the technology and how students respond to this new learning environment.
