At present, HR members of RCL Group are located in many countries. Majority of HR team members work in Thailand and Singapore. Due to unreadiness of HR-Thailand team in the past few years, some key HR works and systems have been carrying on by HR-Singapore team for continuity of HR services to the employees.
Now HR team in Thailand is more stable and ready to move forward. It is an appropriate time to rearrange HR structure in all countries for highly effectiveness. All key and strategic HR policies and works need to be centralized at the Corporate-Thailand step-by-step.
By doing this, structure of HR team should be clearly defined and be more practical in response to a rapid changing environment and growing demands from all stakeholders. It also helps us to avoid repetition of works among different locations. Line of command between HR-Corporate and HR-Country is another area for consideration.
Hopefully, the new HR structure can effectively support company’s operations and moves.
