Effects of carbonate loading on succinate production
In this study, magnesium carbonate was added at different levels to investigate the effect of CO2 availability on succinate yield from OPF juice by A. succinogenes. Fig. 7 showed the final concentration of succinate (g/L) and total sugar utilization (g/L) from OPF juice after 60 h by using different levels of carbonate loading from 0 to 600 mmol/L.
