The technology of production of the sealants and adhesives using urethane–siloxane oligomeric rubbers as basic polymers is almost the same as the technology of production of singlecomponent silicone and ure thane sealants and adhesives described in the patent and scientific–technical literature. The physical prop erties, rate of curing, and mechanical and adhesion characteristics of polymer compositions based on them seem to be determined by the structure and chemical nature both of the silylating agent—organo functional silane—and the length and structure of the main and side chains of the urethane prepolymer.
