The influence of catalyst calcination temperature of the eggshell loaded RHA on the catalyst effectiveness was evaluated.
In this work, the focus was on calcination temperatures ranging from 600 °C to 1000 °C.
As shown in Fig. 4, when the temperature increased from 600 °C to 800 °C, the catalysts of different supports and different CE loadings showed an improvement in catalyst performance.
At this temperature, the highest biodiesel yield of 91.5% was achieved for the 30% RHA800-800 catalyst.
However, a further increased from 800 °C to 1000 °C resulted in the decrease of biodiesel yield for the most catalyst.
