I stayed here in February last year with my friend. We are looking to go back to Thailand and i read the most recent review and i was very sad to hear they have decided to close!
This was by far the best stay we had. By reading other reviews it seems like these people do not do their homework at all! I mean come on, what do you really expect for 6 quid a night! If you are going to backpack you have to be prepared and a lot less spoiled! And everywhere we went in thailand we booked for one night then extended our stay if we like the place... it's a little bit of common sense right?!
Well when we arrived we only booked one night at first, we got the bungalow right next to the beach. It had a fan and we were given mosquito nets too. We only ate the breakfast here, which was good! The staff (and the really cute dogs) were very friendly and we booked an excursion through the resort as this was much cheaper than from the mainland. We ended up staying for 3 nights. It was bliss, there was only 1 other group staying so it did feel like we had our own little private beach.
Honestly, i cannot fault this place at all. We did our homework and we knew what to expect. I really hope they open up the resort again
