Grape marcs were collected immediately after grape crushing
from two wineries in the Veneto Region, located about 100 km
apart. Two white grape varieties were chosen, namely Glera (Vitis
vinifera cv. Glera, the variety used for the production of Prosecco
wine, collected from Conegliano, Treviso) and Moscato (Vitis
vinifera cv. Moscato, from Colli Euganei, Padova).
