In Asia, spot ethylene prices inched up a bit over the past week on the back of improving spot demand in the regional styrene markets. Spot ethylene prices edged higher by $5/ton from a week earlier to reach $1050/ton on a CFR Northeast Asia basis while prices on an FOB South Korea basis also witnessed the same weekly increase amount to be pegged at $1025/ton.
