CTA/PART
History : R/O infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm
Technique : Plain and arterial enhanced CTA with 3 mm. slice thickness and deleyed with 10 mm. slice thickness of the abdominal aorta with. 2D MIP coronal and saggital reconstruction of the aorta
Findings : The study reveals nono- leakage fusiform aortic aneurysm with eccentric mural thrombus ( 2 cm at left lateral aspect) of infrarenal abdominal aorta, measuring about 4.8 cm. in maximal thickness It extends from about 3.5 cm. below left frenal artery down to distal abdominal aorta 1.7 cm. proximal to bifurcation and 7.8 cm inlength
There is also fusiform aneuysm of right common iliac atery with eccentric mural thrombus, measuring abut 2.4 cm in maximal width. It extends about 1 cm. from bifurcation and about 2.5 cm. in length
Angulation with minimal narrowing of the proximal celiac trunk in noted. The SMA and bilateral renal arteries are well patent with out significant stenosis
No dissection of abdominal aorta is detected.
Good excretory function of both kidneys is seen.
The IVC , renal and portal veins are also patent.
IMPRESSION:ge
1) No-leaka fusiform infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm
2) Angulation with minimal narrowing at the proximal celiac trunk
3) Right common iliac artery aneurysm
