In terms of BMI, the prevalence of underweight, overweight and general obesity were 12.6%
(95% CI: 10.5–14.7), 19.2% (95% CI: 16.7–21.7) and 9.7% (95% CI: 7.9–11.5) respectively.
Using WC, the prevalence of central obesity was 26% (95% CI: 23.3–28.7), whereas using
WHtR, this prevalence was 39.8% (95% CI: 36.7–42.9). Among men and women, the prevalence of general and central obesity rose with age, and in each age group, women were more
often obese (in terms ofBMI, WC, and WHtR) than men (Table 3).
