sharing the load – each GTG supplies the same percentage
power based on its maximum rated output. When the plant
load increases, the GTG primary regulation will detect a
decrease in system frequency and will increase the GTG
power output to compensate. Due to the 4% droop setting, the
new operating point will be at a slightly lower but still
acceptable frequency as shown in Fig. 3.
