Personal responsibility
Each of the Company's senior management staff, directors and employees shall have a responsibility to thoroughly read, understand and comply with each of the principles set out in the Code of Business Ethics. Compliance with these principles is a pre-condition to employment. Breach of these principles shall result in disciplinary penalty including dissolution of employment contract.
The board of directors and the respective regional management will decide on or appoint suitable management staff responsible for appropriate measures against behavior which is in breach of the company's Code of Business Ethics. These measures are aimed at preventing erroneous behavior in order to foster the employees' awareness for compliance with Code of Business Ethics.
If according to their judgment each senior management staff, member of the board of directors and employee discovers behavior which is in contravention of this Code, he or she shall have the responsibility to submit the same to the following persons: Supervisor, business leader, local Human Resources Department, the aforesaid Asia-Pacific Ethics & Compliance Office or Global
