4. Conclusion
The investigation revealed that the weekly mean relative
humidity on the surface of composite material and
water content in material was low. The effect of higher
moisture content on the composite apparent thermal
performance was to have a much higher thermal conductivity
in the core pore of the material. However, the
weekly mean thermal conductivity in material is still
rather low and the weekly mean water content in
material is low. Thus, it could be used to save energy in
buildings due to its low thermal conductivity. The simulation
confirmed that the manufactured composite
satisfies the requirement of construction materials.
Laboratory investigations are undergoing to validate the
simulated performance.
