hallenges: Jamie had a really tough childhood, where she saw her mother be physically abused by her step-father, they were really poor and ended up in a trailer park and she had to raise her 4 siblings. People have always let her down so she cannot trust anyone easily and she puts up a giant wall to anyone who tries to get close. Doug is patient with her but the day she takes him to see where she grew up, he lied to her about smoking a cigarette. It flushes all that they’ve built down the toilet as she throws up the iron wall again. Will she learn to forgive and trust in time?

The couple that grew the most during the 5 weeks was definitely Jamie and Doug because going from her being almost repulsed by him to her opening up and being all about PDA with him was huge! Doug never pressured her to do anything she wanted, and when decision time came they still hadn’t had sex. They were the only couple that hadn’t consummated their marriage.
